YCT Tutoring is a private tutoring organization that specializes in math, reading, writing and foreign languages. We’re devoted to promoting student motivation and academic success.

With over 15 years of personal teaching and tutoring experience, Christy Yan founded YCT Tutoring with the purpose of helping students reach their fullest potential.
 

Having spent most of her academic and professional life in the field of education, Christy has witnessed the impact of a great teacher and mentor. She saw how students struggled to succeed without proper resources and accountability. Inspired by her experiences, Christy set out to make a difference in student achievement.

Christy holds a Bachelor's degree from UCLA in Sociology and Spanish, along with a Master’s and Ph.D. in Education from UC Riverside.
